A beautifully sculptural pair of mid-century Swedish pewter candlesticks featuring a striking interplay of sharp geometry and soft curves. Produced in 1960 by GAB Tennone of Swedens most respected metalwork houses since 1867this pair exemplifies the refined, architectural quality of post-war Scandinavian design.

The design contrasts a strongly faceted, tapering base against a smooth rounded stem, topped with a scalloped drip tray and a vertically fluted candle socket. The crisp, geometric lines give them a commanding presence, while the softly aged pewter surface brings a warm, tactile patina. Elegant and understated, they add effortless Scandinavian modernism to a dining table, mantel, or modern interior vignette.

In Good vintage condition with an aged pewter surface and signs of use consistent with age. Please note that the rim of each drip tray has a characteristic, gently undulating profile. This is consistent across examples of this GAB Tenn design and is inherent to the original form rather than the result of damage or impact.
