Mid-Century Organic Hand-Blown Glass Sculptural Coupe 1960s

This breathtaking hand-blown art glass object embodies the fluid and organic elegance of mid-century modern design. The coupe instantly captures the light with its undulating, wave-like rim that balances gracefully upon a heavy, architectural clear glass base. What elevates this piece is the deep, aubergine-to-amber sommerso core, beautifully paired with an intentional, sweeping spiral swirl and delicate controlled teardrop bubbles trapped inside the foot.

Crafted during the height of European studio glassmaking in the 1960s, this object echoes the sophisticated craftsmanship perfected by prominent studios in Scandinavia and Murano. Seamlessly transitioning between a statement vide-poche, a functional decorative dish, or a standalone tabletop sculpture, this one-of-a-kind vintage piece brings soul, weight, and a curated sense of history to contemporary living spaces.
