CANDLE HOLDER ( 72 )

The candle holder collection by Studio Torbina in pink sandstone explores the quiet dialogue between material, light, and form. Carved from a warm, mineral-rich stone, each piece reveals subtle variations in tonefrom soft blush to dusty rosehighlighting the natural beauty and depth of the material.

Pink sandstone, with its fine grain and gentle matte surface, gives the objects a grounded yet delicate presence. The weight of the stone contrasts with the softness of its color, creating a balance between strength and refinement. As light from the flame touches the surface, it enhances the stones natural textures, producing a warm, diffused glow.

The forms are deliberately simple, guided by clean lines and restrained geometry. This minimal approach allows the material itself to take center stage, while small variations in carving ensure that each candle holder remains unique. Subtle irregularities speak to the hand-crafted process, lending the collection an understated authenticity.

Designed to stand alone or in composition, the pieces invite a contemplative use of space. Together, they create a quiet rhythman interplay of height, mass, and lighttransforming functional objects into sculptural elements that bring warmth and calm to an interior.
