Bernardaud Versailles Enchant Rim Soup 9″ Limoges Porcelain Soup Plates & Rimmed Soup Bowl

For a more formal use than a coupe soup, it can be used to serve broth or appetizers. They feature a selection of engravings by the greatest engravers of Versailles such as Gabriel Prelle, Isral Silvestre or Jean Lepautre. Each plate is a single engraving in bistre on the rim with the king’s golden sun rays which is then tinted in ochre or green in the centers. By superimposing themselves, the plates align the fountains despite the fact that each engraving is different.

The Bernardaud Versailles Enchant Rim Soup 9″ is crafted by Bernardaud, the storied Limoges porcelain house founded in 1863. From its workshops in Limoges, France, Bernardaud has supplied the world’s finest tables for more than 160 years, pairing the region’s famed kaolin porcelain with contemporary artistry.
